It's Grillin' Time!

Luke had a great idea to grill up some delicious shish kabobs. He's never made shish kabobs before and neither have I. In fact, I'm not sure if I've ever really eaten them either. I was a very picky eater as a child and probably only picked at the chunks of meat when any sort of shish kabob came my way. Anyway, we just sort of made up a recipe. We got chunks of steak, a sweet onion, a fresh pineapple, and red and green bell peppers. Luke used all the seasonings and sauces we had in our cupboard to flavor the meat. I think our favorite was the worcestershire sauce. Here are some pictures of the event...

Our deck is small, but just right for Luke to grill.

You may notice Luke is wearing his ATV riding gloves. This was so he could turn the kabobs without burning his hands.

Like I said, the worcestershire sauce was our favorite.

VoilĂ ! Delicious shish kabobs. And let me tell you, I was cheating myself as a child. That meat with that sweet onion and a chunk of green pepper was like a flavor explosion in my mouth!

The kabobs look like they turned out delicioso! And great pictures of the whole process...But Luke, were the ATV gloves really necessary?

A flavor explosion, you say? We better get on that right away. Thanks for the inspiration. Oh no, I only hope they turn out as good since we don't have the kickin' gloves like Luke...oh well.
